Dilly Dally Social

Murder mysteries, live games & socials · Northern Colorado

Not all who wander are lost. Some of us are just dilly dallying.

We write live games, murder mysteries and socials, then bring the whole night to a local venue, your office, or your party. You bring the people. We run the fun, and we clean up after.

Experiences

Four questions. One of them is yours.

Every format travels. The story, the props, the host, the timing and the reset come with us.

Want to surprise your guests?

Mystery & Mayhem

Someone in the room did it. Original murder mysteries timed to your dinner, pop-up mysteries that take over a party without warning, and detective games where the whole crowd works the case.

  • Murder mystery dinners
  • Pop-up murder mysteries
  • Mobile detective games

Want someone to take over the fun?

Parties & Play

We walk in, grab the room and run it. Rotating games, ridiculous prompts and just enough chaos that nobody has to do the awkward small talk.

  • Surprise games takeovers
  • Social game nights
  • PowerPlay: improvised slide decks
  • Mild Chaos mixers
  • Comedy roasts

Want a theme everyone can get into?

Signature Socials

  • Laugh & Loaf socials

Have an idea nobody offers?

Made for Your Crowd

Last Call

First round's on the house. The cure isn't.

A sponsor's CEO is thrilled you came, and the first round is free. Then the lights drop, the screen thanks you for joining H.I.-V.E.M.I.N.D., and your group has sixty minutes to find a cure. There's only one dose. The room decides who gets it.

Phones are welcome. The company has a website, a hotline and a few things it would rather you didn't find.

Private & corporate

Your people. Our show.

Team building people talk about on Monday. Holiday parties with a plot. Fundraisers that keep the room moving. Birthdays for someone who has it coming.

Private nights are planned in a conversation, not picked from a menu. Tell us the moment and Amanda writes back within one business day with a few questions and a time to talk. Then you get one clear quote.

  • An original show, written in-house
  • A live host or game master, plus actors when the format calls for them
  • Every prop, puzzle and printed piece
  • Set-up before your guests arrive and the reset after they leave
  • One point of contact from the first call to the last cue

No payment, no commitment. A person reads every request.

For venue owners

You bring the room. We bring the night.

Slow Tuesday? We build recurring, low-pressure community nights that give people a reason to leave the house, stay longer, and come back next month. And we bring a crowd that follows the fun from venue to venue: the dilly-dalliers.

We handle

  • Hosting and running the event
  • The games, the story and the pacing
  • Promotion and social content
  • Building a crowd that comes back

You provide

  • The space
  • Your food and drink service
  • Your normal staff
  • That's it. Very little extra work for your team.

Revenue share

No upfront fee. We split ticket sales. The low-risk way to run a pilot night.

Hosting fee

A flat fee per event. Best for recurring nights that already have their footing.

Hybrid

A smaller fee plus a share of tickets, so we both win when the room fills.

Our add-on experiences are already offered through select Northern Colorado venues. Ask about bringing us to yours.

Who you'll work with

Two people and a pickle.

Dilly Dally Social is a Northern Colorado family business. We write every story ourselves and run every night in person. The party stays a party: no sales pitch on the floor, ever.

Amanda Schreier

Amanda Schreier

Runs Dilly Dally Social

Amanda has owned and run escape room venues and brings more than ten years in HR, consulting and operations. When you send a request, she's the one who writes back.

Todd Schreier

Todd Schreier

Writes the shows

Todd builds the productions: the scripts, the clue trails, the props and the run sheets. For our first nights, he's in the room running the game.

Alan Schreier

About the pickle

In memory of Alan Schreier

The pickle with the gray mustache is here in memory of Alan Schreier, the original Schreier, who was always the life of the party. He lives on with us. We're here to entertain you and bring you joy, because that's what he did for us.

FAQ

Good questions.

If yours isn't here, email dillydallydorks@gmail.com and a person will answer.

What is Dilly Dally Social?

A roaming party company from Northern Colorado. We write live games, mysteries and socials, pack them up, and run them in someone else's room: a venue, your office, or your party. You get to be a guest at your own event.

Do I need to bring a group?

No. Come solo or bring your crew. Everyone in the room plays, and everyone gets a job.

How old do I need to be?

Last Call and Murder at the Masquerade are for guests 18 and up. For private events it depends on the format. Tell us who's coming and we'll tell you what fits.

How much does a private event cost?

Every private event gets its own quote for your group, your venue and your date. One quote, one invoice, no surprises.

Where do you run events?

All over Northern Colorado, including Loveland, Fort Collins, Greeley, Johnstown, Windsor and Longmont, and beyond. We come to your venue or office, or help you find a room.

How do I buy tickets?

Public shows are sold on our Tickets page. Last Call (Thursday, Nov 5) is $40 a seat and Murder at the Masquerade (Friday, Nov 13) is $40 a seat. Tickets for both are on sale now on our Tickets page.

Do you do corporate team building?

Yes. Murder mysteries, mobile escape rooms and game takeovers make team building people actually enjoy. Tell us your group size and date in the private event form and Amanda will send one clear quote.

Is it scary?

Only if you want it to be. Most of what we run is silly, social and cooperative. Ask for a zero-horror format and that's what you'll get.

I own a venue. Can you run a night at my place?

Yes. That's most of what we do. Use the form below, choose "I run a venue," and tell us about the nights you'd like to fill.

Is the space accessible?

Tell us what you or your guests need when you inquire or book. We'll tell you honestly how the room and the show work, and adjust what we can.
